It wasn't TOO bad, really......was it?

When we finally got to the ferry port at Dover it was 3:30pm

It was packed with vehicles and we realised that we were in for a very long wait. 

One coach even had a very appropriate name!

We left Dover at 7:30pm and arrived at Calais at 10:05pm local time.

As you can see, Calais was not quite as busy as Dover had been!

Once we were on the road, we were fine. The journey was well paced with a few stops along the way. We finally arrived at Giessen at 8:00am and there was a really warm and friendly greeting from our hosts.

Looking forward to our first joint rehearsal this afternoon.
